I found this utility http://www.nyditot.com/Products.asp very interesting.

It allows you to scroll any size of resolution on your small PDA screen, bit like the iphone.

Sounds good to me.

I just thought I'd actually post something of use up here as I have in fact had to use a data recovery company to rescue my laptop.

Essentially, if your hard drive goes down and you want to recover your data you may

- use software (not very successful, OK if the FAT or file allocation table crashes but that's it)

- use a data recovery company.

As mentioned in my other blog, I used 123 Data Recovery to recover my data. And I'm pretty darn pleased with the results.

Other resources include the Data Recovery Forum which I thoroughly recommend also for impartial advice.

My trusty Panasonic DVD player broke after 4 years of faithful use. Prob.time to get one - no problem - but trying getting a DVD player that plays all DVD regions - not so simple.

Asda and Tesco didn't have any. I tried Dixons for a DVD player but they're all region 2 dvd player.

Onwards to the Internet (why didn't I start there first?!?!)...after a quick search I found Codefreedvd.com - DVD player that plays all DVD movies. To be honest there were a few of these companies on the net but Codefreedvd.com seemed to have a better service, namely their lifetime guarantee on playback of DVD movies. Yup, it appears anyway, they are offering a lifetime warranty on their dvd player, guaranteeing it'll play Euro discs or Jap discs or US discs for the lifetime of the machine. After much swithering, I opted for the Code-free 200 DVD player Reasonable price at around 90 quid / $149 and plays everything from Mp3 to DVD. I will be chuffed went it arrives, stay tuneds for my review.
